About
Hi, I'm Shir. I’ve been working in the global hi-tech industry
for close to twenty-five years.
With an LLB and an MBA, I’ve held executive roles, coached many leaders and played an important part in a company (Borderfree) that went from a startup to an American acquisition (by Pitney Bowes) through an IPO.
As Head of People at Borderfree and General Manager of Borderfree’s Israel subsidiary,
I helped grow the start-up into a global mid-size company, shape its culture and support its transition into a publicly traded company on NASDAQ.
When Pitney Bowes acquired Borderfree, I continued to run the Israeli subsidiary and led the integration of the Israeli R&D center into the American corporation. This transition effectively leveraged its Israeli talent while gapping US-ISR culture differences.
Today I help companies scale and grow, consulting to their CEO’s and HR leaders,
coaching executives and managers, developing leadership teams, and offering HR and organizational guidance.
I believe that values are the basis of everything.
I’ve seen leaders and teams reach a glass ceiling not because they lacked skills or innovation - but because they ran short on the intangibles: trust, respect, authenticity and love.
These values build culture, teamwork, social capital and inspiring leadership. They leverage talent and skill as well
as innovation, and have a significant impact on success.
